Leaking by the handle…..wanted some confirmation if I want to replace this unit, it’s best to remove it by turning counter clockwise where I had indicated….and replace with like unit….rather not deal with packing washers or nuts and what not. Thanks

You can buy a milti-size gasket set from HD/Lowes. I dived several leaking spouts and valves with out replacing the whole unit.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
The connection for that is inside the building.

It could be 6" it could be 12"

No way to know without looking. You need to hold the fitting it attaches to or you will twist things off.

you remove the 2 rusty screws in the wall .

See what parts you will need before starting.

    Good luck!

Have those same spouts. I think there is a kit I used to buy at the real hardware stores that includes new packing... not sure if just controlled the amount of closing force?? My actual valve was inside the wall as one of the previous posters mentioned.

Glad it's fixed (for now anyway.) Is that a Woodford? Woodford anti-siphon spigots are the best, they like to spray you down when you shut them off but great for freezing climates. I replaced all ours with new ones, they're not over the top costly. You're supposed to be able to leave hoses on them through the winter, but I'm not going to test that one out LOL
