    I doubt I'm the first to post about this, but I didn't find anything after 2 hours of searching the forum. I hope somebody out there has found a simple solution that I just missed.

    I'm looking for a good multicamera DVR system for off-roading. I have an Anytime Backup Camera installed, but it doesn't record. I also have a cheap 4-ch MDVR system that I use with temporarily installed cameras. Neither one really does what I want, and most solution I find online are expensive and cumbersome (meant for big rigs), or cheap and lacking.

    What I'm hoping to find is:
    - Rugged system with easy controls
    - At least 4 cameras
    - GPS tracking
    - synchronized video playback
    - Standard video encoding and video file format (h.265; MP4)
    - Max of $400

    The closest I've found are 2-camera systems designed for motorcycles or SxS. If Blue Sky Sea made their B1M or DV988 in a 4-camera system, I wouldn't be making this post. I'm considering buying 2 of their systems.

    DVR = Digital Video Recorder
    MDVR = Mobile Digital Video Recorder

    Did you ever find a solution?
    I'm looking for something similar, but I'd be happy to just tie my rear camera and an anytime front camera into a small DVR. I have a front and rear DVR on my motorcycle and it works great, but as you said, it only supports 2 cameras.
