Steering wheel collapsed but doesn't seem broken

    2005 4x4 quad cab Black on Black Names Vader 205,000mi
    Bilstein 5100's 3" lift I think
    My steering wheel came upon an sudden strong amount of force and it seemed to cave in and left a metal clip in the floorboard. Seems like I can remove trim and bolt it back up. Anyone else have this problema.IMG_7354.jpg IMG_7353.jpg IMG_7355.jpg

    Someone may have been in there for some reason years ago, dropped the column down to do something and then didn't fully tighten the bolts. They probably slowly worked themselves loose over time.

    If the threads are OK and you've got all the nuts just put it back together and keep rolling
