    5160/6122 ? Are these Fox Shocks or something else, I guess I'm not fixed on rebuilding these if not feasible so definitely open to suggestions

    This is not directed at the OP, but just a general statement:

    These high performance shocks take maintenance/money to enjoy the benefits. From what I have seen, most people don't own or do the required maintenance for long term use. At a minimum you should have:

    1) N2 tank and zero loss fill/pressure check and actually check the pressure quarterly.
    2) A couple gallons of shock oil and rebuild kits. (I also keep a spare shock shaft in the case of damaging one while on trips)
    3) The proper tools for the job and procedures to rebuild your current shock. We have rebuilt shocks at camp while having beers. It takes longer to get the shock off than rebuilding it.

    I appreciate that, I'm still learning about these bad buys since I'm not the person that purchased them, I may go with some other setup like 5100s etc depending on how much money, effort it takes to have these rebuilt
