50+ thread

Thoughts and prayers. I’ve wrestled with that since going on thyroid medication. When my levels are off (especially low) I gain massive weight and can’t think my way out of a box. Hoping they find the right balance for you.

Completed the certification training and got home late last night. Off today and tomorrow. Hotter than 6 hells around here this week and weekend.

all these years on TW and I didn''t realize so many of the cool kids were also the old farts. So stuck thinking most of the 'coma bro's are 30 somethings.

Thanks for the support. I realize I can be a bit descriptive and over share but it seems to help. I type out a lot and the erase it. But here goes…

The last round of treatment was ElectroConvulsive therapy, aka shock therapy. I was one of the lucky ones to see worsening of the condition and pretty severe memory loss. Up next is more therapy and a medication change but they tend to be about 30% effective overall. But at least we’re moving forward one foot in front of the other while keeping those bad thoughts at bay.

While changing a light bulb above my garage, I caught a couple deer on the edge of my property. I got a pic of this one before he ran over the hill into the woods. Surprisingly, they stuck around for awhile. I think they might have been the ones who took a swim in my pond a few days ago.
