Engine wiring harness functions fine; however, there are many exposed wires due to strain and age, particularly from the rear engine block to the MAF sensor. The factory TXL wiring has done phenomenally well but we all know they will one day fail.

I am not interested in rewiring the entire truck. Simply put, I want to protect the engine wiring harness principally from heat and chemicals (e.g. gasoline, oil) with radiant heat sheathing, heat shrink sheathing, dual wall adhesive heat shrink, and waterproof connectors (think: Deutsch, Weatherpack) where appropriate. If I can get away with simply rewiring the fuel injectors, MAF, and other nearby connectors / lines which are exposed to radiant heat from the headers and engine block / cylinder head / intake then that, to me, would be ideal.

Please, friends - send me any diagrams, links to helpful threads, and other materials.

    Thank you.
