Now you need to prep and paint them!!

i can’t tell from the original pics but they look almost bare. Now for some unsolicited advice! I’d probably scrape off any look paint or coating, spray with self etching primer then use roll on bed liner. I used roll on stuff on the outside facing and I think just black corrosion fighting paint on the inside of my skid.

 

Love it. Any reason you use roll on instead of rattle can? My OEM OR skid plate was primed, spray on bed-lined, then hit with some rattle-can red. I'm thinking a similar treatment for these guys. Since I have three plates, I may consider the classic yellow/orange/red, or maybe just red. I haven't decided. I know I'm definitely going tolightly oil, cover and protect the bolt holes for the removable plate to prevent paint from jamming up the hardware

 

I used the roll on since I thought it would be a little more durable than the spray. I have used the spray for touch ups though when needed.

 

FYI. Antwerpen Toyota sent me a e-mail stating select 2023 Tacomas are $2000 below MSRP. 4.99% for 36 months for well qualified yada yada yada. The markets thawing.

 

Probably white ones lol. They are always sitting it seems. Nothing against white tho

Anyone have an extra offroad grille for a 2016 they're looking to part with? I have the chrome one, which has a more square-like pattern, and I need the diamond pattern for my raptor lights. Pic below:

 

I believe those are from 2018 Tacoma

 

What grill do you have?

 

Are they just 2018? I was under the impression they were all 3rd gen except for the OR and Pro models

I just bought one today off a guy i was gonna paint it black, but If you want it I could part ways with it
