Factory alarm?

I have a new 2023 TRD off road. No tech package…

I searched the manual and couldn’t really find an answer.

My kiddo and his buddies (7 years olds) were playing in the back of the truck and bouncing up and down, and the truck honked and the lights flashed. Happened several times.

I was surprised, I didn’t think it would have shock sensors?

i didn’t read anything about an alarm on the window sticker. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

 

It’s probably not on the shocks or even the suspension, rather a typical sensor that detects vibrations.
Get them a trampoline

 

Shock sensor, mine went off when lightning strike shook my house at 3am.

 

Yes I agree, kids need to stay outta the new truck. I was giving him a break since he helped me wash and wax it.

I didn’t realize they came with shock sensors built in.
