    Welcome to the rabbit hole of parts for a lift.

    Here is a photo is the UCA touching the coil, and I’m running 3rd Gen TRD FOX with a 1.5in spacer. So…. Least to say, I am at the very maximum.

    It looks like your $1.5-$2k budget build is going off the rails quickly. Before you know it, you're ordering $20k 74Weld portals and you're living in your truck. lol. If portals were only like $18k cheaper, I'd be all over that... dare to dream

    $2,000.00 budget?

    used TRD foxes or
    Bilstine 5100 front and rear.
    Front clip to 5 and call it a day.

    No need to fret about UCA, LCA, Bump stops, and all the other stuff.

    you gotta factor in the shop Labor too unless you are wrenching it yourself.

    Those 2.0's 2-3" scored quite the deal on them with an ome medium leaf pack u bolts and carrier drop, all from the dealership I was working at a few years ago. Even with the 295's I have yet to notice any shock fade on long rough back roads but my build isn't all that heavy.

    Factory TRD lift on my Sport . Love the stance and love the ride. Softer than stock Sport but to me better ride and I’m pavement only. To be fair it’s not much different than buying a set of 5100’s and that would be cheaper

    Just my 2 cents;

    I had an 08 Tacoma with an OME lift, total chaos UCA and Dakar leaf pack. I was on a budget and “ HAD “ to have it now. The suspension would have been fine for anything but a daily driver, and after a year or two, I hated it. It rode like shit.
    I now have a 2016 4Runner. This time I saved and got BP-51’s. I put 100k on that suspension without a single ounce of maintenance. Now admittedly, it’s hella expensive and WAY more suspension than I truly need. BUT, it rides like a dream, and like I just said, 100k and no maintenance.
    Point of the story. Save for the suspension you want, don’t settle for the one you can afford. You spend a lot of time in your truck. Make sure you’ll enjoy being there.
