    No charters being sold by SHR. Plus they have another year on their contract with Ford so I'm not sure they'd be able to anyway.

    The 4 and 10 are wildcards. I think those two charters most wonder what is going to happen. Bush Light leaving the 4 for the 1 leaves SHR no primary for the 4. If the 10 leaves, so does Smithfield. Therefore, a void for those two teams.

    The charter system is annoying. Ok... You wanna guarantee entry for a championship run. Cool... I get it... But to participate in the playoffs you HAVE to have a charter?! That pretty much locks out anyone like the old Phoenix Racings that want to compete on a lower budget.

    I guess I didn't realize a charter was required for the playoffs. Not a fan of the charter system as it is. Personally, I see it as a wall to entry for smaller teams trying to make it since sponsors would be more hesitant to invest in cars without them. And with charters going for $40M IF they're even available, it's even harder.
