Going to be purchasing a TRD Sport 2023. But want the TRD Pro wheels Dark Wheels. Seems can't get them at purchase as they don't seem to be on any package. Any suggestions? STD. size is 17" correct?

I have a 21 Sport and went with the 4 Runner wheels. You can’t get them as a package on the Tacoma. They sell them to you separate. I then sold my stock wheels. There’s a good market for them.

Look online at Toyota dealers, you’ll find one selling OEM for upwards of 20% off and $200 credit for shipping. I bought Trail Edition wheels but looks like dealer I got mine from has 17” TRD wheels you want for 22% off MSRP. Then sell your take offs and you’ll end up out of pocket maybe $400?

^^ This. I did the same thing. Just be careful with hub fitment and 4Runner wheels that are 2021 and newer. I got 2020 4Runner wheels and had no issues.

I should have added a picture. The tires are 275/70r17 WildPeaks. I’ve been very happy with them. I had a little rub on the front tires at certain angles, so replaced the mud flaps. 20230604_121704_Original.jpg

"Replika" make an awesome aftermarket 17" TRD rim. Only thing missing is the TRD logo in the Centre Cap. You can buy those cheap too.

Im looking at getting those exact tires. I've had them before on my silverado and loved them. Do you think they'd rub with a 2" lift? Also, what offset are those wheels? That makes a big difference in the rubbing.

Highly recommend BAM Wholesale for purchasing of OEM wheels. As mentioned above, you should be looking for the 4Runner Pro wheel (as it comes 17in), versus the 16in Tacoma Pro wheel. Make sure you get the part number below, there is an issue with the newer 4Runner wheels fitting on the Tacoma, but not this generation of wheel. Pics below for reference on my truck…

    Part number:

I also run the 275/70r17 Wildpeaks. Zero rub for me with the 4Runner pro wheels mentioned above (4mm offset). I have the TRD Lift on my truck right now, so around the 1.5-2in mark.

Agreed, I got $800 for my 4 stock wheels with tires, made me feel much better paying for the new rubber!

So If I got a rim with a 0 offset or -10 offset id be fine then? Which do you think would be better? Wouldnt -10 make the tire stick out a little more?

I’d start here, both of these videos give you an excellent understanding of offset. There is a lot that goes into not rubbing…

Im not sure what the offset is. They are the 17” 4Runner Pros. I have the factory lift, which I think is 2”.
