My most disappointing Craigslist loss is a used ejection seat from a LTV A-7 Corsair II, sold by the USAF pilot who was launched out of it in Vietnam. It was only $200 and someone beat me to it by 10 minutes. Was going to make a sick office chair out of it.

One of the slats wasn't seating in the slat holder so I cleaned out some gunk; this felt like over 10lbs and it was all just concentrated between the 2 slats shown



After flipping them all over I decided a little disassembly was in order

Torch height control adjusts for any deviations in height caused by metal being warped and other factors

However, THC can only adjust so much so rapidly so it was important to get it square and flat

End result
