Denso 234-9001 Bank1 O2 sensor question

Looked in vain for whether it’s for automatic transmissions only or manual 5 speeds too. 2003 Tacoma base cab 2.4L manual transmission. BTW, Auto Zone wants $189 when Amazon and other reputable online sites have the same for $80+ less! (???).

 

I would only get denso 02 sensors. They are closer to $200. Are you looking for upstream or downstream? the only difference is length so If you measure the length of the old one you can line it up. You'll also want 2 new nuts as they are all rusted on.

234-9001 as being for manual, unlike all online sites not bothering to mention so. Also listed at Amazon for $104. Auto Zone and O’Reillys both want $189! I’m on a really tight budget with upcoming registration with smog check required.

 

I'd avoid Amazon and Ebay for these, lots of counterfeit O2 sensors

 

I replaced my downsream first 80 bucks....not fixed then replaced upstream $180 not fixed then i bought a 175 dollar cat off ebay no more codes.....hopefully you dont have my luck. You can go to advanced auto parts they have a fancy scan tool that will tell you if you have a bad 02 sensor. I found this out after i installed the new ones. My truck is 03 tacoma with 321k and all that stuff was original equip
