Anyone here familiar with GMC cars and their "issues" by chance?

Want to pick your brain and ask a question about something that happened to the Mrs' 14 Acadia Denali.

 

Doing up some heat shrink on the fuse box. I had the heat gun set to low, it goes to "high" and then I see smoke. Unplugged it immediately.
Now I need a new heat gun.

The sound in the car stopped working. All of it.

Edit: the water in the door wiring harnesses makes a lot of sense given the type of failures and control module

 

I've checked and seems dry. Not to mention the car is garaged and hasn't really been out in the rain lately.

Might have to make a trip to the stealership.

 

Play with the harness that goes to the L/F door and see if stuff works/doesn’t work.

 

Out of the vinegar bath and into the oil, olive,that is.
I let em set a couple weeks before consuming.

Hit up the Terryville fair with the family last night. Got 99% of the deck boards installed on the front porch. Need to bend some aluminum to tidy up the corner pieces of siding on the bottom two rows. The end caps got mangled pulling them off when the project began, but was able to salvage one enough to make a template out of. Picked up a roll of aluminum trim and will cut some blanks out tonight. I dont have a brake but do have a nice milwaukee seamer that might do the job. If that doesn’t work, ill just rent a brake for a half a day. Also need to schedule a rental for an aerator/overseeder for September since the front will be all cleaned up and ready for seed. Rest of the yard can use it too.

Yup. I remember my 06 Colorado when I replaced the factory radio having to buy the (I think) RS1 module as the factory bells/chimes all work through the radio. This module replaced that function.
