All of the enclosures are custom built. The ones on the outside started life as angle aluminum, and I had @paranoid56 cut the one in the center. The lights themselves are VLED and Diode Dynamics. On the outside, each one has a LPR and a LPB (license plate reverse and license plate brake lights, the reverse and rear fog long lights). There are also Red MaxPods for the DRL, as well as an amber MiniPod on the side that are tied to the parking lights and turn signals. Then the last one is a white MiniPod aimed down for puddle lights. Then the center bracket contains 2 Diode Dynamics SSC1R sports that are switched to turn on with reverse, or anytime. The have parking lights and brake lights built in. In between those is another LPR from VLED. And not seen there, tucked up behind the SSC1Rs, is another set of MaxPods in white that are triggered with the puddle lights as well as the bed lights. There will be more to come on the UpTop that goes on the topper. It all kind of ties together style and function wise. So definitely more to come. I am kicking around the idea of doing an actual build thread, I just get so sidetracked, and I suck at explaining things, that I am not sure it would even be readable

    Better look at them here:

and here they are more raw, and an earlier "draft":

Noticed that I was starting to get some oxidation on my roof despite my best efforts to combat the California sun with regular washes and paint sealants.
    IMG_1080.jpg
Decided I would attempt to vinyl wrap the roof for some extra protection. I used this: VViViD Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J4LY0FG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Started to try the dry application method but was way to difficult to manage in the heat today so I switched up to using some soapy water. This allowed me to work the vinyl much flatter and squeegee with decent results.

Overall, I’m probably 90%+ satisfied with the results, especially for a first time wrap and doing this solo on a very hot day. Hope this holds up better than the weak paint that’s used nowadays.

Love my dobie, have a Euro red & rust. Service animal for me - training to be a hearing dog for me, and personal protection. He is 7 months as of this past weekend and is 80lbs on the dot. So far trained in obedience and basic skills and some advanced skills. He already protects the house, and working on friend vs threat recognition. He learned easily and quickly that a masked person is a probable threat , and physical aggression towards me or my other half instantly will have him on your ass lol. Still got lots to work on. Aside from that a very friendly and loving and silly boy. He likes squeaky toys and whatever you are eating lol.

Fish Bowl no more! Just got 15% 3M ceramic window tint all the way around. The guy at the tint shop told me that the 3M ceramic reflects 2-3x more heat than the "cheap tint." I figured this was a gimmick, as the 3M ceramic was more expensive. I went ahead paid the extra $100 for the ceramic, as it comes with a lifetime warranty, and I have to say, the temperature difference inside the cab after a few hours in the sun is HUGE with the ceramic tint compared to before. Worth every penny.

Now to cross my fingers and pray I don't get a ticket for the front 2 windows being darker than legal. With my luck, I'll get pulled over tomorrow.

You're fine, my truck is also black and I have same tint. Literally have had state troopers right beside me on the interstate and if anything they wave and thumbs-up my truck.

Nice. That ceramic tint really works. Mine are at 20%, which still is not legal here. Especially looks good on a black truck. There have been a few times that I have seen a cop coming up to be right next to me at a light and I've rolled the front windows down just in case. 99% of the time I don't end up noticing them until they are right next to me. Where I got mine done, he said he has done a lot of cop's personal cars and they are done at 5% most of the time. Don't know if that is a factor, but probably not. I think it mostly comes down to how you're driving and how you talk to them if you do get pulled over for something or a go through one of their checkpoints.

Installed a hidden winch, caliraised flush mount brackets with my diode dynamics light bar, and a Martin Offroad roof rack. It’s crazy how much the roof rack changes the look of the truck.

That’s why I went with Air80 for mine. You can’t really tell front windows are tinted and it makes a huge difference in the heat.
