With our current internet we get a signal from tower thats just a few miles away. I can see tower if I walk to the middle of the driveway. Our service sucks. All we hear from the provider is blaa blaa blaa. We are 5 miles from town and we have very few options. One option is Star Link. Does anyone have experience with Star Link?

I am afraid to ask

Had a similar problem in Oregon, they ended up running cable on the power lines to our house. Cost was a permit per power pole. And Spectrum picked up most of the cost.

 

Not personally but my winter help has it and says it's great. I was looking into it for my house but internet isn't our issue, it's the cost of all the different TV channels and apps.

I do have a couple of those. They work great if you have a signal to boost. But one of the big issue we have at work is all the snowbirds grabbing the signals so we have bigger dead spots. Fortunately we figured most of those out so when we need a signal we just drive to these other spots.
