Close it hard and see if that works. If not they're shim adjustable.

The front and back of mine sit up a little too.
    Please explain "they're shim adjustable."

Appears like something is obstructing this section from not fully dropping on the top of the bed rails. I have no issues with mine, it compress's well against the tailgate to seal out any rain.

There are shims under the latches which you can swap or remove as necessary. I've heard some say swapping the front and rear ones on the folding parts helps.

I have to agree with ZT here, something is just not right with the OP's setup. Mine too seals up nice and tight against the tailgate railing.

I had the same issue on my new truck. Bed filled with water even in the slightest rain. Took it back to the dealer within 5 days of purchase. They confirmed... "something is wrong here..." and replaced it with a brand new cover. Had to keep the same style, per the Service Manager, but it does fit much better and very little rainwater gets in now...

Under each latch there are different thickness metal shims, or 2 hole spacers of different thicknesses under each latch. Just make sure you remove, or add the same thickness on each side. You can do that on all 6 latches to adjust them.

Hey 33yrsoftoys thanks so much !!
I went out, lifted lid. Took off plastic cover from piece that surrounds hinge on lid cover. Removed 2 nuts. Mine only had 1 long plate on each side. (2023 or sb) Took out plates on both sides. I'm fairly mechanical but didn't see that. Taking out plates/shims lowered cover to attaching posts. Cover now sits flush. Thanks again so much. Always was bugging me.
