Well I would say you broke page 13317, and were rewarded with your very own page 13318. Congratulations.

Had my daughter help with a brake job when she was about 12 years old. Got home with parts from Advance Auto and realized they had mixed up the parts on the online order. Went back with her (she was annoyed because it took time away from drawing) and she dead flat told the staff without prompting that the person who picked the wrong parts should be working at Beginners Auto. I didn't know she had it in her!

Just forget it. Really, never think about it again, they will also actually check fitment of your front floor mats and confirm correct installation. You can literally stop worrying about this one, freeing up your brain cycles for other mods. :D

They won't do your second free oil change until you hit 20k. they will say only every 10k miles. So do it yourself, and maybe take it later for your 2nd freebee

They are custom. If you like the center piece, @paranoid56 can make you one. I sent him like 20 files though, so I’ll have to remind him (and myself) which one it was. For the side pieces, I might revisit them at some point, see if I can make them easier. Doing it the way I did it (with a router and brazing the aluminum) isn’t price point friendly.

yep, no alteration to the existing scoop so i can do something else later, as planned. just a fun intermediate project that cost me less than $20.

    looks good!

i would encourage you to do a build thread, not so much for continuity, but so all the details are easier to find in one place!

i used to do a lot with reverse lights. life, money, and time have had other plans. one day i intend to return to do some new ideas i've got ;)
    https://hackaday.com/2012/04/17/he-blinded-me-with-backup-lights/

this was my last-created design for my cars reverse light...

i've etched the pcb, but ran stuck quickly after that. optic options didn't exist(they've since caught up, and i've located a few designs that work as i wanted back when i designed it), and i've still got some massive thermal issues to overcome with running 8 high power led's at 1400mA-- i really want to do a thermally-controlled output limiting curve similar to baja designs... i had started looking into pc cooling loops and repurposed transmission coolers, but then felt the costs were running away too high...

After making some upgrades and resetting ecu I was informed the mpgs would drop, eventually.
    Was getting 16-17 before.
Well, I'm on tank 7 and have a gallery full of 20+ mpg pics. :p

Pro grille came with my truck, dealer installed TRD lift kit before I took delivery.

The lunar rock letters came from tacos4cheap. 45$ IIRC, perfect fit and a super easy install. Just pop them on over the existing grill letters.IMG_3579.jpgIMG_3580.jpg

I went with these after first ordering 14$ vinyl decals from another site and they were horrible. Too big for the letters and the vendor rather than offering to send me a new set that were the correct size recommended I apply them and trim them to fit. No thanks. Chalked it up as 14$ lesson to avoid that vendor in the future.
