Black SR5 Overlay

I recently purchased the black overlays to go over the chrome badging on my 2023 SR5. Everything went fine and looks good except for the SR5 (on both sides) doesn't seem stick very well on the bottom portion of the S. It's not terrible, but there is a little chrome showing. Has anyone ever experienced this?

 

Had the same thing happen when I put overlays on mine. Tried two different sets, same result. I eventually took both SR5 emblems off and replaced them with black American flags.

 

The SR5 badges are slightly concave and the overlays are dead flat.

Nothing you can do

 

Mine were installed at the port and are both flush.

 

Got mine off eBay and they fit just fine. They are curved though.

Assuming you are asking me then no, I can't. I looked but unlike on Amazon, I could only look up my purchase history going back 2 years and I've had them longer than that. Sorry.

I have 2 new and in the original wrapping SR5 black overlays. They were ordered from Southeast Toyota Distributors through Amazon as part of a larger blackout package for my 2019 TRD OR 4Runner. I don’t know if the SR5 badge is the same size for 4Rs and Tacos. But I am willing to give them to anyone for local pick up in Houston or ship them to someone on their dime.
