Isn't that how Harleys usually get from place to place? :boink: :D

Nice of you to help out a friend.

Anyone know if the Gen 3 2023 Tacomas recalibrate the speedo automatically after changing tire size Or do you have to have it recalibrated ?

Unless you have a GPS speedo built into the truck to compare it, or a way to enter the new tire data to the chassis computer, I doubt it.

It’s killing me to lol  :D
Looks like the wheels won’t be here until tomorrow :fingerscrossed:
So I probably won’t pick it up until tomorrow afternoon. Depending if the wheels arrive or not I might be getting it with the stock wheels and tires tomorrow. I was going to have them mount the 33’s on the stock wheels and run spacers until the new wheels arrived. But tracking shows them to arrive tomorrow so I’m just going wait so I don’t have to pay twice for mounting and balancing. Since now I know they should be here quicker then I thought.

Yes, compressing air makes results in a lot of heat, decompressing it makes things really cold. Have you ever touched a CO2 cannister after filling a bike tire/shooting pellets etc.? Don't.

Yea I heard some of the new Tundras automatically recalibrate so was hoping the 23 taco did also. I have a Garmin so I’ll check and see if it adjusts or not. Next upgrade might be the OT so hoping maybe there might be a option for tire size changes when getting the tune.

Finally wired my heated seat pads in. I had to reverse driver and passenger wiring as I had them backwards. Quick fix.

The OT option sounds best. You can get a little transmission re-tune to make up for the tire size while your at it.

For sure and exactly what I was thinking
I learned to drive and find the sweet spots the trans likes but now with bigger tires it’s going to be a new ball game I don’t think I can get around not getting the tune.

Well, finished the MBRP axle dump install
Ignore the white crud on the leaf shackle .icon RTX are squeaky until you lithium spray them.
Been testing and may have to do a video about this , as with OTT Tune, adding this upped mpg a bit.

Nice! I’ve had the same exhaust for a little while now. I love how it sounds.

Shoot me a PM, it's not listed anywhere as I'm getting ready to leave for a little over 2 weeks. I need to clean the garage out after all this work on the truck, clean the bumper up, and list a ton of stuff for sale. Won't happen til I get back though, but I can give you prices.

I also went that route. (Spidertrax 1.5")
Several months in. So far, so good.
    Corners better too, IMO.

Beats keeping it next to the parking brake.
Thanks for the lead. I'm bad with names, yet.
