A good friend of mine has a 2002 Tacoma TRD PreRunner. His power windows randomly quit working. He hasn't figured out a trick to make them work again so he waits 5-20 minutes and they start working again. Any advice before I try to diagnose this problem?

The lights in the radio display randomly turn off and on whenever the headlight switch has the headlights turned on. Are there any typical parts that go out on a first gen that would cause this problem?

    Thank you!

In the knee panel fuse panel there is a 15 fuse (blue) that is for the radio… pull that fuse out and replace it. Sometimes a fuse will crack.
