I'm trying to reinstall the UCA bolt on the drivers side. I cut the bolts and bought new ones. For the passenger side, I reinstalled it backwards. The drivers side is much harder.

If I go the normal way , there is a lot of bending that needs to be done. It seems like it's more than other Tacoma's I've seen.additionally, tit looks like I need to remove the battery.

If I go the reversed route there are 3 tubes that I think are fuel lines. Whatever they are, they have blue marks on them on the right side of this photo. Anyone have some advise?

As I remember, on the driver's side, besides lots of sheet metal bending, I had to detach a wiring harness which was not easy to get at. I did not cut my bolts and I put them back in the same direction, but in 20/20 hindsight I think cutting and backwards might have been the better route.

I didn't go into detail iny original post but it's a long trial kit so brake lines are getting replaced.

    gotcha. makse sense then.

Still if going LT especially. Put the bolts in the right way from the top down. Bending the inner fender can be done without even messing up the paint.

Just unclip those fuel lines from their plastic holders. It'll be a tight fit with the bolt head but still easier than bending inner fender sheetmetal. I also unbolted the plastic wire harness tray sitting on the frame rail.

Long-travel kit? You plan on welding double-shear brackets onto the frame for that UCA bolt? Imagine how much easier the installation would be with this there
