Any input from other 6spd 4x4 owners would be appreciated ...
Not experiences any problems while driving in 2h..4h..4lo...diff locks fine .just seams a bit temperamental

Are you referring to the actual switch itself or the whole engagement process?

    If the latter.
    My experience is that.
Switching into and out of 2wd and 4high you can be moving at speed Or stationary.
If stationary, it will engage or dis-engage in a moment after you set off, silently or with a loud click or thud.

    BUT

Going into and out of 4low you must be in neutral and fully stopped.
The beeping and flashing 4low when going in and out of 4low is the truck saying “I’m not changing until I’m fully stopped and in neutral!”.

Whatever you do. DO NOT turn your truck Off while switching modes. You have a chance that the ADD will go into limbo and not know where it is in the sequence. That’s a real problem.

    Thanks for the info
The dial sticks going from 4h to 2h
The flashing buzzing occurs after turning dial to 4lo from h4

I stop fully to change to 4h or 4lo

Hmm, you can remove the dial and try a q-tip and 99 iso to remove any debris inside, and probably a tooth pick or similar instrument.
You can spray some contact cleaner in there, as well.

Past that, I’m sorry I’m not too knowledgeable. But I know many here are not knowledgeable than me.
