Hi guys. I got some new mudflaps and wouldn't you know they didn't come with all the hardware.. No clipnuts for the bottom fastener.

Meanwhile can someone tell me what these are and how do you remove one and replace it?
It's inside the front fender well.

Removing it will mangle it, sometimes still reusable but most of the time, barely hanging on. I use a pry tool that looks like a 2-prong fork to get enough space to get a needle nose to squeeze the tabs to salvage it. Most of the time, I just drill them out.

Thanks I have WeatherTech mud guards to install and that thing is in one of the holes. I am guessing there is just an empty square or round hole in the metal behind the plastic inner fender.
So WeatherTech has not done their homework for their kits that fit non-fender flare equipped 3rd gen Tacos. Missing two clip-nuts and a fastener to replace this thing in pic. I called WeatherTech to discuss the issue and all the person could do was keep saying they would send out another kit. That isn't going to solve the issue.

Anyone have any experience installing WeatherTech mud flaps on an SR?

I installed them on mine with no issues. Kit had everything needed for front & rear.

I do not have mudflaps so not sure what clips you are referring to but I keep a box of these on my shelf.
