Did anyone ever find out if the two were interchangeable??

Toyota says this was discontinued. 25860-75220

I have the same one pictured in travis500's Post #1. Part number 269-75230, 101362-2200, 220 shows up on Amazon as "fits your vehicle". I see someone tried it and it didn't work? I thought I saw a post that had an Ohm reading for the original. I get a 1.1 ohm reading, same as touching probes together, so I'm thinking I need a new one. I've never noticed a ticking noise from mine though. Got CEL and had them read the code at Auto Zone, forget the code but it was "Excessive Exhaust Gas Recirculation". I replaced the EGR valve as I figured that was most likely to be the issue, but no difference. (Lol, and learned here that was the least likely to fail)

1996-01 TOYOTA CAMRY OEM VACUUM SWITCH VALVE VSV # 90910-12201 or 90080-91203 | eBay Will this work? I'd prefer to use something as close to OEM as possible. Seems other Camry stuff was used too.

Of if your the anal type.....

For Toyota Tacoma AISIN Vacuum Switching Valve 2.4L 2.7L L4 1995-2004 1n | eBay Does it attach to the original rubber damper?

Hoses look good but are dry so will get new ones. Truck runs & starts great as always. Exhaust is getting louder. Could cause the CEL? Thinking I'll go with Stainless Steel system from 4x4 Parts as it's not much more. Figure I'll get a new O2 sensor when I do that. Also wondering if it's possible to check for vacuum/switching while it's running as I don't have a vacuum tool.

Truck is in great shape as it's spent 80% of it's life in a garage and not much in the mud. The frame replaced before I bought it in 2003(has the bar code sticker). Probably in New Jersey where it's originally from.

What code do you have? I had a P0446 for a while that was fixed by replacing my rear O2 sensor. I replaced it for a P0420 code but it appeared to be resolved after that. Never heard anyone else having the same experience.

I didn't write it down. I'll get the code next time I visit a parts store.
