Morimoto HID Elite Wire Frayed

Less than 4 years in, my morimoto HID elites failed because the wire connecting to battery disintegrated. The stranded wire just broke. Not sure i want to spend $250 when the wire isn't quality enough to make it 4 years. Anyone else have this problem?

Lights performed great otherwise.

Depending on how much you use your headlamps, 4 years may be about time for a replacement for the burner any way.
