    Hello All!

I have been digging around a while and can't find too many folks running the SyneTrac covers along with a bed rack. The Pro model (link below) has an integrated rail to add Bed Racks. Looking for any details on what bed racks may fit in this cover rail system. Thank you for any advice. Hope everyone is having a great Labor Day weekend!

    Thanks,
    Hanny

My Truck: 2021 Tacoma short bed

Wanted: Bed Rack (likely 18" or higher). I would like it close to flush with the cab(or slightly higher) so I can run longer items above the cab. May need to add a roof rack too.

PS: Please let me know if I should move this thread. I just didn't see much to this cover specifically. So I thought I'd create one.‍♂️

I did find some other threads (Some older) listed under SyneticUsa. Some details there. Still, if anyone has advice here, I would welcome it. Thanks all.

We have several racks and crossbars that are compatible with integrated tracks on tonneau covers.

The only potential issue with that cover is the length of the tracks.

Hey. Thanks! Already changing my mind and looking at the Retrax line. Along with your VRS racks. Also have an email chain going through your support. I’ll keep asking questions there.
    Thanks!

Retrax pro is nice in person, I looked at that one in person on a Tacoma. But you loose space and have to drill into the bed, in addition to the price.

We have a RetraxONE XR on our Tacoma, we didn't have to drill anything. What needs to be drilled?

The loss of space because of the canister doesn't seem to be an issue for us. The truck is used on our horse ranch for hauling bedding, hay, and bags of grain.

Drain holes for the canister that the cover retracts into.

    Oh that.....I knowingly skipped that.

But you could run those down into the drain holes that are already in the bed. Every time I get a new Tacoma the first thing I do is open up those drain holes with a 1/2" bit. The stock holes plug up too easily.
