Dome lights with puddle lights?

    Need some advice here, I’m trying to connect the puddle lights from my towing mirrors to the dome lights. 2019 Tacoma TRD O/R. The puddle lights work when I used a fuse tap also do the dome lights but puddle lights don’t turn off. Am I doing something wrong ?IMG_4972.jpg and yes, it is a 7.5 fuse on it.

    Hood Struts, My version Fogs always ON, Map & Overhead Light Mod,
    The fuse to the dome is always "hot" as in direct from battery. Not ignition tied.
    You'll require to tap the negative side of the dome circuit to the negative of the puddle lamps.
