As the title says my truck isn't starting. I tried jumping it twice and that didn't work. I was getting an electrical sound before but now nothing
And there is a humming coming from what sounds like the master cylinder brake reserve

Hey thanks for the timely reply. I'm kinda stuck in the desert right now

    Automatic, push to start

It was cranking at first now its not making any noise. Sometimes a slight buzz

The key fob isn't working meaning I can't lock or unlock the doors either
    No lights on the dash
But there were some before when it was cranking

Use your talents of Radical Self Expression to appeal to your fellow Burners' sense of Civic Responsibility to elicit Gifting of a 12 volt battery from someone who is practicing Radical Self Reliance and has several redundant spares.

Decommodify by trading your most valuable drugs for the battery. Encourage Radical Inclusion, Participation and Communal Effort as other burners carry the battery to your disabled vehicle and install it for you. Encourage Immediacy to get it done right now.

Finally, haul out your dead battery and Leave No Trace as you exit the Playa.

When you tried jumping it twice was it with a charged jump box or another vehicle? If it was another vehicle was the engine revved up to provide enough juice?

If trying to jump with a newer vehicle hooked up you will most likely get little or no power from it, computers control alternator output and will limit the amount of power you can pull from them. Find someone with an actual jump pack or an older vehicle. If using an older vehicle make sure cable orientation is correct or things will be worse off than before you tried to jump it.

No Gates aren't locked. They are only not allowing people to come in. But if you're able to get out you're allowed to leave. I ended up borrowing a jumper pack and beat on my starter a little with a pipe and it turned on haha

I think that was the case. Because I tried to jump it with two vehicles and it didn't give any power but as soon as I put the jumper pack on, it started up pretty quickly. Thanks for your help
