2019 off road not starting or making any noise

Somewhat true comma there are no vehicles going into the event right now but if you are able to leave then you can leave I have a TRD off-road with some good all-terrain tires and I made it out just fine

 

I'm not stuck in the playa, my truck just wasn't turning over. I think the alkaline does fucked with the electrical is because once I was able to jump start it I was all good. I just needed a jumper pack, not an actual car

 

They revved it a few times and it didn't work ultimately what work was a jumper pack

OMG I can't believe we all forgot that important step. We are all getting old and soft here on TW.
The solenoid needs some coaxing sometimes. I have used that trick multiple times to get vehicles started.

 

Not mocking OP. Just trying to inject some humor into the thread. Having attended and volunteered at regional burns, I have some perspective on the principles and participants.

I don't want to put words in someone else's keyboard, but I believe the 'cringe' comment was for the video and the cringy methods shown in the recovery...by 'professionals'. One thing in particular that I saw killed someone earlier this year.

But maybe I'm reading it wrong and you can go ahead and feel all butthurt.

 

I am not a fan with trying to jump people off with my vehicles, as the electrical systems are so sensitive. I bought a jump pak so I don't have to say no when someone asks me for a jump and I don't have to ask anyone els to jump me off if needed.

 

FWIW, I have used my 2017 Taco to jump start a FJ60 and a 2013 Chevy Cruz.
