Curious, was it a difficult install? Removing headliner and resealing light.

Needed? No. All it's going to do is allow me to not lift the hood to boost and eventually run air compressor or anything else that requires a direct connection to the battery.

Those were examples of things they have on sale.
I have changed the 3rd brake light.
I didn't realize the Access cab was different so I ordered the wrong one at 1st. Started removing the headliner to realize there weren't any interior posts. It screws in from the outside.
Inner post lights are doable though it's going to be tough getting a socket on them. There's install videos.

On changing the external screw light I spread a thin layer of permatex on foam gasket and a bead across the top(after install). for added safety.

I found a local spot here in WNY that is reputable and does a 2-3 year undercoating to protect against that, i need to get done. Salt is ROUGH here. I was out by you earlier in the summer - DAMN, ADK is Tacoma country lol. They’re everywhere there

The girl treated me so well yesterday on her first outing I decided to take her to a spa today :) and steam clean.
    Love this truck

I’m also really happy with this Mickey Thompson and Method combo . So glad I decided at the last minute to go with the methods instead of stock wheels.

Although don’t think I’ll be tire dressing my tires anymore even though that was traditional on all my rigs. I think with this one it might take a bottle a tire lol

Thanks. The Amber backlighting on every light on the truck sure makes it look menacing driving around at dusk.

    Compiling the list!
Finally installed my Airaid Snorkel and TRD Cold Air Intake. The snorkel looks great but is a bit of a pain to install. I think they hired someone from China to write the directions. Pieces aren't mentioned (rubber washers) and other than the parts list, there is no mention that the hose clamps are different lengths. I also painted the "Airaid" logo red to match the TRD since the yellow clashes with everything.

Yeah, they are definitely popular. And starting to see a lot of Tundra's with the new updated styling.
I undercoated mine when it was new. All you can do is try to manage the rust in this part of the country. No totally avoiding it. Sucks

Bought some new tires GT Radial Adventuro ATX.... $493.63 down the drain. I'll get them in a couple weeks. I'll put them on before winter.
Hopefully they hold up as good as my current Wildpeaks.

Yesterday my son and I packed our BMX bikes to hit up Berkeley Skatepark. Cool spot, and a good day of riding.

    Today:
    IMG_20230903_111015941_HDR.jpg
Loaded it up to hit the trail and get in the water. I've had my truck off the beaten path a lot this summer. My wife and I started kayaking.. we have so many state forrests, wild life preserves, and lakes close by... We've been taking advantage of our position.

Any type of dealer/broker makes money through sales transactions. How often have you heard a car dealer, stock broker, or Realtor say it was a bad time to buy?

They don't worry about a good or bad market, they make the market. They just want to keep the market moving. That's why the pandemic hurt for them; no cars to sell (new or used). If they could get you back to upgrade every year they would. And if you don't upgrade? Then maybe you'll come in for parts or service. They really have most of the bases covered.
Just remember they won't make a deal if it will lose them money.

As long as they are fair and honest, I think they are just good businesspeople. Adding thousands or requiring overpriced stuff they added just because they can (or selling you service you don't need) doesn't fit the fair & honest part for me and I resent that.
