I hear a clunk noise while reversing with wheel turned when I break. Is the noise from drum breaks?
Is it an issue or is it normal?

If backing over any dip/gutter with wheel at full lock to either side you would be hitting the metal stops on LCA. Don't hold at full lock or apply grease to contact points.
If not at full lock is noise in front or rear and doubt rear brakes but possible if way out of adjustment so use your parking brake regularly to keep adjusted.
Assume in 2wd when happens as if in 4wd its normal binding if not on dirt/slippery surface as wheel speeds different and unloading drivetrain noise.

On a '22 I wouldn't think any 'clunk' to be 'normal'.
The only click or tick I hear is something with the front brakes, actuating. Idk if it's traction, ABS, or something with the brake assist. That happens only for a bit after startup going in any direction and braking.

Anything other than that is abnormal in my eye.
Has any work been done recently?

Without hearing your noise, I'm going to go ahead and mention that a common thing with these trucks is the brake clunk.

Basically, there's a touch of slop in the fitment of the brake pads. When you change directions, you hear the pad shift within the calliper, especially when you first apply the brakes. This is normal for some reason and doesn't affect anything in a negative way.

Its likely the camber/caster bolts not torqued to spec.

If 3rd gen then 135/139 ft

Any # of things aren't torqued to spec you're gonna hear a clunk.
Swaybar/linkages, ball joints, shock bolts to name a few more.
Start by grabbing a torque wrench.
If it still clunks at least you'll know nothing's loose.
