Hi, Dale Moore here. I just acquired a 2008 Access cab, 2 wheel drive, manual transmission and long bed. 148k miles. I’m wanting to make it my everyday driver.
It is completely stock. Only mods I’m interested in will be those that improve reliability and/or efficiency.
I’m a 72 year old retired Coastie (30 years active duty). I am divorced (repeat offender) and live in the Florida panhandle (Marianna). I like to travel, gold panning and motorcycles. Used to be a pilot and boat captain.
I been lurking on this site for months. Great source of information and helpful members.

    Welcome!
In terms if efficiency, the only major thing you can really do is go with lighter wheels and tires, and maybe a tonneau cover. Or if the truck has a roof rack and you're not going to use it, remove it since that creates extra drag.
