Whats the best way to prevent leather seats from cracking?

What are you guys using as a leather conditioner?

Is there a post that already talks about this? (I did use the search bar)

    thanks guys

    Zaino

Been using it for almost 2 decades. One wiff and you'll be in leather Heaven. Smells like high quality leather and does a phenomenal job at cleaning, conditioning, protecting and the cabin smells incredible.

Won't do much for existing cracks but regular use really prolonged the start of common cracking on the driver's seat area of my F150 Lariat SCrew and other vehicles. I've had zero cracking on any other seat other than that left edge driver's seat bolster that gets crushed every time you get in and out.

Treat your leather like your skin

clean and moisturize. Clean it with any reputable leather cleaner, and follow up with any reputable leather conditioner. avoid armor all. It will crack it up.
I have used Lexol, and Malco products without issues since 2012 (malco is cheaper priced and smells like a leather works booth at the crafts fair, niiiiiiiice)

don’t use abrasive cleaners or wipes (magic erasers)
You can also go over them with a steamer provided you use a soft microfiber between it and the seat.

Lexol has disappointed me on keeping the leather soft I might try something else.
As far as a cleaner the best I have used is made by Sprayaway.

Just bought the truck not long ago, I know its almost inevitable, but id like to try to minimize the cracks on the seats.

I had some chemical guys leather cleaner and conditioner, but not sure if thats the best way to go.

Do you have pictures to see how your seat is holding up?

Just be careful if you are spraying on a product that you are not soaking the threads. I apply product from Chemical Guys with a clean cloth onto the seat material so as not to overdo it.

Don't overdo it and you should be fine. Apply to your cloth first and then apply. (I used to be an auto detailer in my early year working on Jaguars)
This may not be a one shot effort for best results.

I’ve always used Malco, it’s affordable, comes in a big ass bottle, and smells like a leather factory. Customers loved it when I used to detail

I bought Both Lexol and Leather Honey. Gonna use leather Honey on Driver side and Lexol on Co Pilot side.

I’ll post pics of both .
