Where in the name of all that is holy is the clutch pedal return spring under dash attachment point? I’ve removed the under steering wheel panel, bruised and scraped my arms trying to get them up there to feel for it with no luck. Does it somehow use the metal tab on the panels back the hood release cable uses?

It’s attached to the round steel tube that goes across the dash, directly in line with the clutch pedal.

Thank you. That was well hidden on my 03 base. I have some dealer installed option wiring covering that up.
