I didnt realize I needed this mod until I saw someone had it. This mod would let you have fog lights on WITH high beams. Further enhancing your mood lighting on the trail.

BOOSTAUTO has a quick jumper mod you can make. I would love to hear if anyone has done it or know if it could potentially start a ? https://boostautoparts.com/products/tacoma6hi

BRITEBOX has a mod that looks good BUT I have auxbeam fog lights and I dont wanna modify the connectors! https://www.aspireautoaccessories.c...Z9wLgN0yKkjMLzjRsfY8tax4NS7wxVCxoCCXYQAvD_BwE

    Any suggestions?

No suggestion, and it's probably overkill, so I'm in. I want to know too.

Also, consider not doing this. There is no logical reason to have high beams and fog lights on at the same time. There's a reason NHTSA doesn't allow it.

High beams hit fog and reflect back, reducing vision. Fog beams cut low and illuminate behind, improving vision. Running both is a net loss for both.

High beam, fogs, bumper light bar, ditch lights, roof rack light bar. A 40mph christmas tree blazing a fire road that can't see a single damn thing. ;)

But seriously. High beam + fogs don't suddenly defy physics because it's on the trail. Your vis will be worse.

I agree 100% but I stopped barking up that tree a while ago. There's always going to be someone starting a thread asking how to do it. Yes it's better to run a cheap, dedicated off-road light than to modify an on-road light. But there seems to be a large crowd that insists on doing the latter. So I stopped pissing into the wind about it.

If you illuminate Tacoma OEM LED high beams and fog lights simultaneously, you can extend the oil change interval to 15k miles

Lol, I appreciate all the help... but I might not do this mod afterall since my electrical expertise is 2nd grade elementary school at best. I was mostly curious about the prospect. I have many more dumb questions for TacomaWorld!!

Britebox - no wires to cut and connects to headlight connectors. Hot connection goes on the top nut of the positive battery cable. Have used this device on three Tacomas with no issues.
