Good morning. Back to normal today. We actually finished a small holly tree trimming project which resulted in 13 bags of yard waste which will be picked up on Wednesday by the city. Simple chicken on the smoker tonight. Smoking up 4 skinless breasts and 8 chicken wings.

I get to see my shoulder surgeon today for a 6 month follow up. I'm going to see if I could get a couple more PT sessions. It's getting better but dam, I want a little less nagging pain and more range of motion.pain and motion are improving except in 1 spot it may be normal but the state workers Comp insurance tossed me to the curb I think too soon. I had it for 4 months but the 11 weeks were 1x per the next 8 were 2x per. My biggest complaint when I was done, I was working out with 8lb weights on my left side. I'm now up to 10 & 12 lb weights on my own.

@johneman , how about a 52 Stude PU for $6500? Right north of here. Running Champ 6, it drives, body all there, black satin paint (modern polite primer!).
Just a little more rough on the interior than I want. And while I'd settle for a 6, not sure the Stude is one I want to keep running! Engine swap is out of my league.

@Tacoma Mike , if you haven't resolved no ESPN for the coming weekend; here is what I am doing in the interim. I have no faith that Disney and Charter will resolve, but this gives me a month to make my final decision.

• Get a 7 day free trial from FUBO. Requires a credit card, and you can cancel after 7. This gives you ESPN channels, plus a whole lot of shit. Been using it since Monday on our Spectrum service. ESPN had to be reset during commercials a few times last night. (Guide, choose again, right back - ESPN was always balky) That will give you the regular ESPN channels you are missing.
• If you decide that streaming actually works, then you can choose a HULU package with ESPN, that also includes (with ads) ESPN+ and DISNEY+. I don't care about the + channels so much, but HULU has channels the wife wants, and FUBO does not. ALSO costs less than FUBO.
• If they haven't reached an agreement by the next time my "Spectrum due date" comes round, I will pack up their boxes and switch to streaming.
• My Spectrum package with sports is typical, at $104 a month. The equipment "rental" is $40. The broadcast surcharges are $24.
• HULU with everything we normally watch (minus two channels) is $70 plus tax. I'll pay that for one month of decision making time.
• All the streaming services are pay as you go, or buy ahead - NO contract. Big Satellite and DTV require contracts.

(I forced my wife to stream SOMETHING while I watched the game last night, to see if we both could watch stuff at the same time. She had no problems with Paramount & Yellowstone, I had the commercial issues with ESPN - but didn't miss anything). And "live TV" OTA programming - I have been streaming it for two days with no issue on any local channel.)

 

Look into sling orange they have ESPN, ESPN 2, and ESPN 3 sports

 

I did. No locals. Missing too many we had. HULU was the best price/package in our area. Amazing what changes when you put in a zip code. I also want to minimize having multiple "service menu" issues - in one place is better.
