New Member Looking for Accessory Guidance for a New 2023 Tacoma SR5

Good morning to all,

I purchased a new 2023 Tacoma SR5 two weeks ago to supplement my 2006 Tacoma PreRunner and I'm looking for some guidance on accessories. I am specifically looking for running boards and a tri-fold bed cover.

My 2006 Tacoma came with running boards from the dealership (factory?) that are 5 inch wide and are made of steel with the mounts welded to the boards. I'm looking for something similar for the 2023 Tacoma. I'll include pictures of the 2006's boards for reference.

I'm also looking for a tri-fold bed cover. I've picked out two products for the running boards and the tri-fold bed cover, but I'm not really well-versed in vehicles (I'm a software developer, computers are my thing), so I'm not sure if I'm choosing good/quality products. They are:

The running boards I've linked look OK to me and look easy to install, but since the mounts are not welded to the board, to me it feels like they're inferior to the 2006's. Price isn't necessarily a concern, but I'd like to keep it reasonable. I'm looking for quality over cost primarily.

Lots of us like the Bakflip MX4 for the cover, I'm real happy with mine.
Steps are a matter of preference -

Bed Mat, Bed Lights, Floor Mats ( weathertech )... Rekgen flaps etc -

All manner of stuff you can buy. Kinda like your own personal tinker toy... like Burger King you can have it your way.

FYI all running boards and steps made for your 2006 will fit your 2023.
