Semi related, any plans on spraying later in the season or maybe a touch up coat for those of us wheeling in October? I can offer a heated shop big enough for 3 at a time… in Lawrence

I just had the underside of my truck Wool Waxed today, and am very happy with the job that Jason did. Before I drove to Jason's house, I removed both skid plates and I dropped the spare tire.

In the past, I have Wool Waxed the frame of my truck myself with the Wool Wax 6 spray can kit. It took me about three total hours, over two days, and in the process I made a mess of my garage with overspray. I also did not have enough Wool Wax in the 6 can kit to treat the underside of the cab. Afterward, I threw out the clothes that I was wearing, because they were a disaster.

Jason did the entire frame (inside and out) and the entire underside of the cab, and he completed the job in an hour! Afterward, I drove home and re-installed the skid plates. I admired the work, AND was very grateful that I did not have to clean up.

Jason did my truck last year and I cannot recommend this enough.

Do we see the need to do this annually? Truck has 7k miles on it and was sprayed with <1k miles. I almost want to get it done just to support Jason

 

I do it annually, cheap insurance

 

Take a peak at it. Last truck I sprayed Sunday I did the hose and was looking around saw like 2 spots to touch up. He had only done about 5k miles so I offered to just touch up for less or do a full respray. Ended up doing a touch up.

I think the leaf squeak went away. Needed a couple days to seep in there. Might get me a rattle can to blast those once a month or something. Sounded like a cheap motel bed on prom night for the past month or so.
