Swapped out the T-stat, yesterday with an OEM one on my 3.4. Temp is usually at 195. But, now after changing the T-stat it's at 200 or so. Thinking that I need to purge it more or could it be something else?
I know 5 degrees isn't much. But, when you're use to seeing 195 for years, seeing a 5 degree increase after working on the cooling system, makes you wonder why that is.

Are you sure your running the right thermostat?
The stock one should open at 180F.
