I'm building a toy hauler. I want the freedom of not having to stay in the truckbed or rtt. I like to travel with the bike so it's a way to get all the boxes checked. My 17 sport dcsb will tow it but I don't want to have the dreaded sagging while I tow my toys. I have read a lot of the aal stuff but haven't seen a lot of bag stuff. I'm looking for some feed back with info to back it, not just an opinion with no info to back it. Thanks TW

I have bags and I love them. Earlier this year i got some sand in a dump trailer. I asked for some amount trying to get the total close to the trucks max. They ended up going 2000 or 3000 lbs over
I wasn't going far and the speed limit was also low so I said f it. The ride quality didn't feel much different than no load at all.

Canopy, fitted seat covers, OBA with self leveling air bags, 100w solar, dual Rhino Rack Pioneer platforms, side & rear LED work/FU lights, CB, cell booster. 7x16 cargo conversion, 3" lift, 7'x6.5' fold down aluminum rear deck.
Had them on my 07 Taco and now my 08 Tundra. Best part is that they are adjustable unlike AAL. My recommendation would be to add OBA and hook up a self leveling setup. Set the ride height you want and the system will automatically adjust pressure to get that height.
One note- air bags can make roll worse. The diving side will send its pressure to the rising side, which increases the roll. This can be helped via sway bar or eliminated via dual circuit air which isolates each side from the other.

I put riderite airbags on when I bought my truck new in 2017. I figured I'd try them and replace the springs later. The airbags are still working great, and I have not seen a reason to replace springs. I like the adjustability. I just run them independently/manually with Schrader valves by my license plate. Their volume is so small you could inflate them with a bike pump if you had to

This. Simple approach. Don’t overthink it.
Or use the Timbrens instead. That was my preference, having tried both. (Slide-in camper)
