Wow, what a bunch of dick posts. Granted, the OP made me SMH, but damn. So many of the early posts could have been educational to a new member who apparently didn't think to research, just trusted his previous experience. I was disappointed with my 3rd gen compared to my 2nd but figured it had to do with fuel mileage. Still it never occurred to me to join a forum and bitch, I joined a forum and learned. And learned.

    Still learning.

Better late than never, bolts arrived so I cut up one of the aluminum rods.

A "sleeper" performance car from my youthful days was the VW Sirocco. It was incredibly quick off the line, handled like a go-cart, and had a Blaupunkt sound system that was to die for.

Amazon just delivered my plastic refill. I decided to get bold and try my hand at the half price mystery color box. I was expecting Barbie pink and snot yellow.

... They sent red and black.

How am I going to finish my makeup kit with red and black?

    Dang that sucks

I'm betting people complained about the color choices they received when they received their own mystery box

Complaining is part of the mystery box experience. Know what you're getting into and bitch about it anyway.

As it is when owning a third gen.

Least you're one of the few 3rd Genners not in denial.

There'd be less threads in this section for damn sure if many more were like you :burp:

What car have you had that had a sweet, sweet transmission? I’m trying to think of the best one I’ve had. It’s definitely not the worst! Let’s do everyone’s worst in pics! Here’s mine, I think:

Was my grandpa’s. Became mine briefly when his sand ran out. He bought the worst, cheap cars! The Tempo was a used rental fleet sale. I drove the shit out of it until the estate finally got settled. Any car is a cool car when you’re in high school and broke!

I drove a 4 door Hyundai sedan and 4 door Buick land yacht after my dad wrecked my 71 mustang coupe with a 351 cleavland engine that was bored to a 420. After that was a. Subaru 350 manual with bad brakes. Then landed into Honda with 90 crx. When I finally kilked that I got a 89 crx. Next were a series of Ford rangers as I needed a truck for work saved and saved trying build equity and bought my first Toyota. My 07 was flawless, my 17.... not so much.

I always wanted one of those. They looked super fun to drive. The crx was incredible. Could turn on a dime if you know what your doing and have the balls to do so.;):D

I got you beat. My worst almost always shows up in the middle of every journalist's top 10 worst of all time.

And it was yellow. With a yellow leather interior.

    20160925_215109.jpg

    Still not the worst driving.

The worst transmission was the 79 Bronco. :crapstorm::crapstorm: A tall geared 3 speed on an Abrams tank of a vehicle. It doesn't matter what it had under the hood, a freight train could beat it off the line.

...Or I could talk about my Frontier that regularly slipped when accelerating on a highway on-ramp.

Or the dodge ram that would shake so badly when you lugged the clutch that the shifter would bruise your leg like it owed you money.

Or the mustang that threatened to smoke its clutch any time you wanted to reverse up a driveway.

But yeah, the Tacoma and its weird shit is the reason why were forming the mob I guess.
