Hello again. I need to get both upper control arms. OEM. So that means I have to get the control arm, bushings, and bolt. Correct? I'm getting a little confused on this one.
    Thank you
    John

Control arms come with a bushings pressed in them. You can use your original bolts as long as they're not damaged.

I think I would have the Bolt if your needing to replace your upper control arms.

If they are rusted so bad they need replaced.

New Upper Ball joints as well .

Thank you @Bivouac. I hope to start tearing it apart this week. Then I'll have a better sense of direction. I'm just trying to figure out which ball joint removal tool I should get now. Always a learning curve. Always fun.

In my experience for the upper Ball Joints I like The OTC c clamp press type with the correct adapters .

In most cases I put tension on and walk away it pops out.

I haven't done this job yet, but can confirm the nut comes off the rear and the bolt slides out to the front. Most posts/articles I've seen have to bend the inner fender a little to make room to do that. To avoid bending the fender I will probably plan on cutting the bolt so would definitely have a new set on hand. Word is you can put put the bolt back in with the nut to the front without issues.

Speaking of nuts, I can't allow myself to put old parts on new ones, I'd make sure the nuts come with it or get a new set.

@Bivouac, thanks. A buddy just sold me a slightly used powerbuilt ball and u-joint kit for 100 bucks about 15 minutes ago. Said it was over 200 new. And it's a good tool.
But I'll tell you what, those ball joint oem part numbers can get real confusing real quick. I found a lot of older threads here with good info but man, it just makes my head spin. I appreciate you always helping out.
@rocknbil, that's good info. I'm in the beginning phase of a frame off project so this makes it a lot easier. But, that being said, I will turn the bolt around just in case of future endeavors.
    Thanks guys
    John

I didn't need to bend the fender at all to get the bolt out and back in, they come out into the engine bay. I just needed to remove a bolted on clip for a harness on the drivers side for that bolt to have space to come out and then bolt it back in place after the bolt was put back in.
