All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

I've been practicing wheelies on the Grom and am still making progress but finally looped the bike twice today. I was able to walk off the back and hold on to the bars and prevent the bike from falling. The second time I just stepped off and the bike just stayed upright.

Check out that sweet scrape on the street too. :D

I read somewhere that 3rd gen groms are slightly longer than 1st and 2nd gen and harder to wheelie because of it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it on why I'm not looping mine yet

I am! Probably the most fun I've had on two wheels in a long time! That's not to say I don't love my Versys or longer rides but the Grom is something different entirely.

Well I've got the 60% springs and 1 finger lever to help pop the front wheel up. It also doesn't help that I'm a greedy idiot who keeps biting off more than I can chew.

I went out again before sunset to practice some more and ended up looping again but this time I fell and dropped the bike too. The battle scars continue to grow.

add the housing market to that as well lol

i've been saying this since late 2020. we're going to see a massive upheaval in what people can/can't afford pretty soon.

Condensation/dew was nuts this morning. Everything was soaked like a heavy rain, so I drove the Taco to work. By lunch it was bright sun and warm-ish so I went home for lunch and came back on the bike. It was a good decision. So long as the day doesn't cook my brain I'll go for a bit of a ride after work. I picked up the filter and oil for the first service last week, so all I have to do now is run up some miles.

Ugh. I looped the Grom twice again today. I already ordered a 12 bar for it last night but at this rate I'm going to destroy the bike before I even get the bar.

I did make a video if you guys want to laugh at my pain (and maybe give me some pointers).

Maybe knobbie tires and a soft grass patch to practice in? Less ouch for you and the bike if you hit the ground. I can't actually help with technique as I'm only interested in old man adrenaline rushes. I like both wheels on the ground.
