I've never experienced major/noticeable issues with brake dust. Here's my general cleaning process.

For most washes, I simply use the same car wash soap. If they seem more dirty than usual, I'll hit em with a litte Simple Green before the soap. I use spray wax from time to time. When they seem a litte faded, I'll use the following.

I ceramic coated my new TRD wheels with Dlux over the weekend - after on the left, before on the right. It was pretty easy and came out looking great I think. Actually kind of worried I put it on too thin, but we'll see I guess. Easy since these literally came right out of the box - so other than a wipe down I did no other prep. Can't wait to get these on the truck... but I think I'm going to have to detail it it first lol.

LOL what'd you expect? Chemical Guys is all marketing and no performance. 3D, P&S, Griot's Garage, Sonax, CarPro, Meguiar's are all excellent choices in chemicals.

I'd use an iron remover then an all purpose cleaner and soft brush or dedicated microfiber wheel mit.

you probably won’t get this stuff removed. The pad material while hot, has bonded or embedded itself into the wheel finish. I had this problem with an FJ some years ago. New wheels or refinishing the wheels is the only fix.
