I just bought a '23 Tacoma TRD Off Road and want to change from the 16" stock wheels to the 17" TRD wheels, like the TRD Pro comes with. From what I've seen so far the 17" are for the 4Runners and not the Tacoma. I had one source say a lot of people put them on their Tacoma, but I want to know if they are really compatible or if I need to do something in order for them to fit without any problems. I see a lot of photos of the Tacoma with them.

I'll be interested to see what others are saying. I just put these same wheels on my truck today with 265/70/17 tires. Everything I read seems to say there will be no fit issues, but going up a hill with a sharp left curve I heard some rubbing - pretty sure it was my mud flaps. If that's all there is, I can live without them. Great looking wheels.

The off road,, sr5 and Sr all come with 16 inch wheels. The pro, the sport come with 17s. Not sure about the limited, but they used to come with 18s. Wheel size is not as important as tire size.

@Bakenlo if you go with a tire size 265/65R17 you will have no fitment problems. 265/70R17 may need to melt mod or remove the mud flaps.

I'm new to this forum, so I don't always get around to checking for responses quickly. However, thanks for the responses so far. To Discount Tire (or anyone else)...will the 265/65R17 tire fit onto the 17x7 TRD wheels without any issues?

The Tacoma Pros are 16” wheels. The 4R Pros have 17” wheels.
