I’m looking to upgrade to 6112s. Word on the street is that they are the smoothest riding sub $1500 set of shocks.

I’ve got a bumper,12k winch, armor, and a group 31 battery. Based off what I’ve read it looks like a 650 or 700lb spring is what I need. I can’t help decide between the two. I’m reading lighter springs w/more preload ride better as long as they don’t compress all the way. Anyone run a 650lb spring and regret not getting a 700 or had to upgrade?

Which brings me to my next question, the preload. I see the charts people have posted on here, showing preload settings and the corresponding amount of lift. I’m changing multiple variables(weight & spring rates) here so I’m not sure what to select to get ~2” of lift up front. My winch people, what did you go with?

    Pic for attention?
