My 2010 seems to throw a lot of heat into the cabin even when the temp control is max cold. Engine operating temps are normal and I have all blower motor speeds.

Is there a valve that controls the flow of hot water from the engine into the cabin or heater core?

My multimeter is down and I am not able to test voltages but the blend door works and both drives in the actuator temp and defrost/heat/floor areas move through their full ranges. It would seem that the controls are working correctly but still having no effect on the cabin temp.

    It is a 4.0L V6, 4WD, crew cab w/ a long bed & 145k miles.

Yes the A/C seems to work and the grated door with the foam back moves open and closed when the panel controls are moved.
