I am looking at getting a new Tacoma and I’ve come across some SR TSS off road 4x4s and some regular SR5 4x4s that are similarly priced. I was wondering what the differences are between these two trims. And would like to hear some input from owners of both trims. Any and all input is appreciated, thanks.

TSS will be an aftermarket appearance package added on by your local port. It changes depending on year, port, and whatever they had on hand the day your truck went through their lot.

SR5 is a trim package from the factory.

I'm not sure what the TSS truck you're looking at is equipped with, but 99.5% the SR5 will be the better deal if they're both at a similar price point.

That’s what I was thinking but wanted to double check. A bit hard to find SR5 4x4s around where I live but there are plenty SR TSS off roads. So I’ll keep looking until I can find an SR5. Thanks for the reply
