My dad liked unfrosted (plain) donuts with mustard but was was my grandmother's mustard recipe...nothing like on the shelf. It was more like a custard consistency. I'm going to have to make some. I got the recipe from my aunt.

That is closer to mustard on a corn dog.

I'd like to add a deep fryer but I haven't nailed down the logistics of it yet. Mobile propane deep fryers are hard to find plus the mess. The flat tops are bad enough plus I'd have to reconfigure the cook area...not like I can knock out a wall.

I don't wrap mine. Waste of time and bacon plus the county would probably have something to say about it. I'd have to find commercially wrapped, pre packaged in order to pass the "red face test". Just about all the other vendors here burn the bacon. I don't like crunchy bacon.

 

About the most we get is 3 years. The heat kills them.

 

Well I'm back. What an emotional trip that was. I've been to many National Cemetery before but this one really tugged at my heart. I think the rolling hills made it more impactful. Anyway it was a nice visit. Three funerals today and each time the gun salutes went off I'd stand at attention, hat off and wept. I'm done for the day.

I put mayo on mine we even put it on our tacos when we do them at home.

 

Mayo ketchup and a generous dash of Worchester sauce makes a great salad dressing.

I think some people here swap out Mexican crema for mayo. I started with both but almost all the orders were mayo so I got rid of it.
